Olympic Gold & Jewelry offers consignment services on gold, sterling, diamonds, estate and contemporary jewelry, fine watches, select collectibles and antiques. Our consignment process is simple, straightforward and secure.
HOW IT WORKS
Visit our Beverly Hills shop with the jewelry you would like to consign along with a valid California driver’s license or California identification.
We will evaluate the condition, style, precious metal weight, gemstone and diamond quality, and together we will ascertain the best market price for your consignment piece. Of course, the ultimate price is up to you! Please be sure to bring any original boxes, receipts, GIA, or other appraisals that may go with your item as this increases desirability. We will then fill out a simple four-month consignment agreement and dealer report. When your item has sold, we will contact you to let you know that your check is waiting.
Prior to marketing your jewelry, we carefully and thoroughly inspect, clean and polish your pieces. If we find any defects we will immediately contact you. If you wish to continue with the consignment process, your jewelry will then be entered into our inventory, professionally photographed and showcased in our display. In addition, your jewelry will be featured on our ecommerce website and simultaneously marketed on various sales channels, as well as our social media outlets which include but are not limited to, Pinterest, Facebook, Google+ and Instagram.
Olympic Gold & Jewelry is privately and securely located within U.S. Private Vaults
, the only private alternative to bank safe deposit box rentals throughout Los Angeles county. U.S Private Vaults features state of the art security; dual biometrics are used to identify clients. Your consignment pieces are securely stored within our 50 ton UL rated class 1 structural steel and concrete vault which features a triple time lock vault door. Our facility is monitored 24/7 by Tyco Security Systems. We are 1.5 miles from the Beverly Hills Police Department. While we take every precaution to ensure that your items are safe while in our possession, we do require that jewelry consigned to us is covered by the consignees homeowners insurance. If you do not have homeowners insurance on your pieces, we will refer you to an insurance professional who will provide this service for you prior to consignment.
Consignees or sellers will receive 70% of the sales price. We will have a check issued and ready for pick up within 10 working days after the sale of the item.
Our initial consignment contract is for 4 months. If after that time your jewelry has not sold; you may renew the consignment agreement, or you may sell or trade your item to us, or you may decide to keep it, the choice is yours.
