Antique Edwardian Sterling Silver Card Holder Circa 1900
This is a stunning antique Edwardian sterling silver card case made in London, Ca. 1900. It features outstanding engraved detail including beautiful oval reserves on each side as well as stylized foliate designs.
One side features an elaborately engraved monogram. The hinged lid is in excellent working order. The interior lip of the case has the hallmarks for London, a date letter (rubbed) and the maker (AC and A.C & Co.).
The silversmith is Cohen & Charles (Albert Cohen and Charles Solomon, registered in 1893), located at Thavie's Inn, Holborn, London.
Case Measurements: 3 3/4 in./9.5 cm in height x2 1/2 in./6.4 cm width x 5/16 in./8 mm thick
